Chocolate Bar Winners/Carowinds

Our entire middle school band community knocked the fundraiser out of the park this year! I am so thankful for all that contributed to the fundraiser. We will work on prizes this week, followed by a finalized roster for the Chocolate party (set for early November due to a facilities conflict), and will send home our Carowinds info with 8th grade including how much they have earned off of the trip! Thank you all for your patience and for supporting our band program!

Fall Concert Information 10/28 @ Mabry Arts Center

We are so excited to show off the hard work of the fall with you at our first concert of the year!

Uniform:

  • Dress is all black, with no crocks, sandals, flip flops.
  • Skirts and dresses must have black leggings underneath
  • Our concerts are required for all band members and students are required to stay for the duration of their portion of the concert. 

6th grade/Symphonic Band:

  • Report to MAC @ 5:15
  • 6th grade performs @ 6:00PM
  • Symphonic Band performs @ 6:20
  • 6:45 PM Dismissal for both groups

CHS Marching Band Performance: 6:45 PM -7:00 PM

Concert Band/Wind Ensemble:

  • Report to MAC @ 6:15
  • Concert Band performs @ 7:00
  • Wind Ensemble performs @ 7:25
  • 7:45 PM Dismissal for both groups

LoC Marching Competition

If your student is looking for volunteer hours or would just like to be involved with our high school marching competition, please sign up below! This is one of the best run marching competitions in the state and it takes a village to make that happen! Are you 18 or older? We need you too! We have opportunities to serve food, sell tickets, drive equipment and more!

10/28 Fall Concert for all CMS Band Members! We will be joined by our special guests, the CHS Marching Band!

11/4 Chocolate party (tentative pending approval of facilities)
