LGPE Week

Week at a glance:

  • Tuesday: Concert band and Wind Ensemble LGPE
  • Wednesday: Symphonic Band LGPE (No Jazz band rehearsal)
  • Friday: Raffle Fundraiser ticket sales are due.

LGPE: 7th and 8th grade only

We wish all of our 7th and 8th graders good luck as they perform at the Carroll County Performing Arts Center this week Individual itineraries are below. Please remember to wear your all black uniform for the concert.

These concerts are FREE and open to the public. Let’s show our support!

The following schedules are tentative. Our transportation department is working diligently to get buses for our groups. If either of the three groups has a change in their schedule, I will inform the students and families of that group.

Tuesday 3/18 Concert Band:

  • 1:15 PM Report to Band Room
  • 1:30 PM Load bus
  • 1:45 PM Depart CMS
  • 2:00 PM Arrive at CCPAC
    • 2:00 PM* Watch Band
  • 3:00 PM Warm Up
  • 3:30 PM Performance Free and open to the public!
  • 4:45 PM Depart Time
  • 5:00 PM Arrive back at CMS

3/19 Symphonic Band:

  • 2:45 PM Report to Band Room
  • 3:00 PM Load bus
  • 3:30 PM Depart CMS
  • 3:45 PM Arrive at CCPAC
  • 4:15* PM Watch Band
  • 4:45 PM Warm Up
  • 5:15 PM Performance Time

Raffle Fundraiser: Extended to this Friday

Due to the timing of LGPE for our older students, we will extend the raffle fundraiser to this Friday, March 21st.

Students must have 10 tickets sold by this Friday in order to be admitted into the Raffle Party on April 1st. Our list is located here and in Google Classroom so that students can see their progress on ticket sales: CMS BAND RAFFLE TICKET SPREADSHEET

  • 3/24 WE GSU MFA Preview Concert at 6:00 PM Required for all students to attend

  • 3/26 WE GSU MFA Performance: All Day. Itinerary here
  • 4/1 Raffle Party after school
