- Wednesday: Jazz Band after school until 4:15
- Thursday: Chair test for 7th and 8th grade only
Raffle Fundraiser Parent Help Needed

Mrs. Sarah Bush is willing to meet with us either during the school day or after school to begin working on some of the documentation side of this fundraiser. We would really appreciate your help!
Raffle Fundraiser: One week left!
The tickets can be sold as physical tickets that the students receive in school or online through the following form: https://form.jotform.com/250355110934146
Please share that link through text, email, and social media! It works!
A few reminders:
- Each $10 ticket enters our customers into a drawing for one or multiple of the following prizes:
- $50 Amazon gift card
- Set of Airpods Pro
- Nintendo Switch
- Ninja Air Fryer
- Top 3 students winners will get to pie Ms. Menendez in the face along with Mr. Cochran and one of our band directors.
- Students who sell to tickets will be admitted into our Raffle Party which will include a glow party followed by an ice cream sundae bar and an inflatable obstacle course in the commons area.
- Field Trips:
- 8th graders will earn $10 towards their Carowinds trip for every 5 tickets sold.
- 6th graders will earn $5 off their field Lakepoint Station field trip for each ticket sold. The field trip costs $30.

- 7th graders will earn $5 off their Urban Air field trip for each ticket sold. The field trip costs $30

- Student incentives:
- Every five tickets sold enters them into the grand prize drawing
- 10 names will be drawn for a fast food lunch
- Students who enter the raffle party will receive a piece of duct tape to tape Ms. Menendez to the wall before she is pied in the face!
Large Group Performance Evaluation (7th and 8th grade only)
Our 7th and 8th graders did a wonderful job on Thursday at our Pre LGPE concert. Thank you to all of the students and staff of both the CMS and the CHS band program as well as TBLA for assisting with concert set up. LGPE is right around the corner! These concerts are FREE and open to the public. We hope that you will come out and support these wonderful musicians in the CMS and CHS band program.
UWG Field Trip
Our students had a wonderful time on Friday visiting the University of West Georgia. The Wind Ensemble rehearsed with Dr. Byrd, toured the campus with wonderful tour guides, and even ate at one of the dining halls for lunch. Great job to our WE and we are excited to hear their performance at Georgia State in a few weeks.
